Refund Policy
Last updated: July 12, 2026
Comber is a digital service — there's nothing to ship back, so this policy covers refunds, not returns. It applies to everything you can buy: subscriptions, prepaid credit packs, and agent-initiated (x402) purchases.
The short version
Subscriptions are billed in advance and aren't refundable — cancel any time and you keep access through the period you paid for. Prepaid credits never expire and are spent as you run. A run that fails is refunded to your balance automatically. If something clearly went wrong — a duplicate charge, or a purchase you didn't intend — email us and we'll make it right.
Subscriptions
Paid plans (Starter, Pro, Team; monthly or annual) are billed in advance through Stripe and auto-renew until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal and takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until then. We don't prorate or refund partial periods, except where the law requires it. Cancel from the billing portal in your dashboard, or email support@codecomber.io.
Credit packs
Credit packs are prepaid run balances, delivered to your account instantly, and they never expire. Because credits are consumable and delivered on purchase, a pack is non-refundable once any credit from it has been spent. An unused, fully unspent pack can be refunded within 30 days of purchase on request, at our discretion — email support@codecomber.io.
Runs you were charged for that didn't deliver
Every run reserves a price cap up front and settles to what it actually used — and a run that fails is refunded in full to your balance automatically, so you're never charged for a run that didn't deliver. If you were charged for a run that produced nothing usable, or you were double-charged, tell us and we'll credit it back.
Agent (x402) purchases
When an autonomous agent tops up credits or queues a run on your behalf over our machine-payment (x402) rail, the same rules apply: failed runs refund automatically, and unspent top-ups are refundable within 30 days on request. You're responsible for the agents you authorize to spend on your account.
How to request a refund
Email support@codecomber.io with your account email and the charge or run in question. We usually respond within a couple of business days.
Chargebacks
If you think a charge is wrong, contact us first — we can almost always sort it out faster than a bank dispute, and unspent credits or a failed run are quick to refund directly.
Changes
We'll update the date at the top when this policy changes.
